I am a lifelong Caledon resident. Since my teen years I have volunteered to make community experience memorable. While attending Humberview Secondary School, I was introduced to the Peel 4H program which led to my involvement in the Peel Junior Farmers. These initiatives fostered my growth and contributions to the community. Soon I joined the Albion & Bolton Agricultural Society, sitting on the Board for 20+ years. I also held positions of Board Secretary and Treasurer of the Peel Dufferin Plowmen’s Association and Peel Soil & Crop Association.
When my children registered for local sports, I began a decade of helping the Bolton Braves Baseball Association in coaching and Executive Board positions. I then lent my time to the Caledon Minor Hockey Association
I am eager to pursue a new kind of volunteer role and deal with different community challenges. The CCS vision of, “A Healthy Engaged Compassionate Community for All” resonates with me. I feel honored to be on the CCS Board working alongside knowledgeable volunteers who are equally passionate about the mission and values of this wonderful organization.
